Book a ConsultationPanchang literally means "five limbs" — it is the traditional Vedic almanac describing five elements of a given day: Tithi (lunar day), Vaar (weekday), Nakshatra (the Moon's lunar mansion), Yoga (a luni-solar combination), and Karana (half of a Tithi). Together these five elements describe the day's astrological character and are the foundation for determining Muhurats, festival dates, and the timing of important rituals. Reading your daily Panchang is one of the oldest continuous practices in Vedic life, still used today to plan everything from weddings to travel.
