This Privacy Policy describes how Joshiji Astrology ("we", "us"), based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, collects, uses and protects your information when you use this website or book a consultation.

Information We Collect

When you use our free tools or book a consultation, we may collect:

• Birth date, time and place — required for any astrological calculation
• Name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number, for your booking
• Your UPI payment reference (UTR) for confirming payment. We never see or store your card, bank or UPI PIN details.
• Family relationships you choose to record in the Family Tree feature, including any photographs you upload
• Anonymous usage analytics, such as which tools and pages are visited

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to prepare your Kundali, hold and confirm your consultation, send confirmations and reminders, and improve the website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How Long We Keep It

Your birth details, chart and consultation history are retained indefinitely. This is deliberate: a Kundali does not expire, and clients frequently return years later with a new question. Keeping your chart means Joshiji can pick up where you left off rather than asking you to supply everything again.

Birth data, contact details and booking records are never written to plaintext application logs. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes and cannot be read by us or anyone else.

Your Rights

You may ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it entirely. If you ask for deletion we will remove your account, birth data, family tree and booking history. We will keep only the minimum record of past transactions that Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain.

Deleting your data means any future consultation starts from scratch, so please be sure before you ask.

Children

This service is intended for adults. Where a chart is prepared for a child, we rely on the parent or guardian who supplies those details having the authority to do so.
